Gewurz Traminer 2015 Grand Cru Kitterlé (Medium-Sweet)
Guide des Vins Bettane & Desseauve 2018 15/20
Vinous by Ian d’Agata 92/100
"Bright yellow. Perfumed, pure aromas of stone, Meyer lemon, grilled plantain and grapefruit complicated by sweet spices. Rich, round and sweet, offering flavors of cloves, sweet spice and tropical fruit nectar; could use a touch more lift but is still outstanding. Lacks the complexity brought on by noble rot, as the Kitterlé practically never has any (only in 2001 did Dirler’s Kitterlé wine show some, but it’s a very rare event indeed). Made from two parcels of very different vine age (four and 35 years, respectively)."
